Bomba rice is a Spanish short-grain rice that when cooked, expands in width, which differs from most rice varieties that expand in length. The company was incorporated in May of 1980 and has its registered head office in Massanassa, Valencia, Spain. The company has modern preparing and packing facilities where it processes over 30,000 tons of white rice every year. Its rice collection and drying center is in the center of the Albufera Nature reserve.
